    George Washington: Six Almanacs Including Abolition. 1) "United States' Liberty Almanac for 1845 (a pro-Birney for President in 1844 imprint with abolitionist text and a quote by Washington on the cover supporting the abolition of slavery through Congressional legislation), 2) "Thomas's Almanac for 1797" with text of Washington's Farewell Address (a very fine copy with insect damage on last four pages), 3) "Rhode Island Almanac" for 1801 with Birthday Tribute to Washington beginning on page five, 4) "Greenleaf's Almanack" for 1801 with engraving of Washington on back cover along with laudatory poem, 5)"Isaiah Thomas's Almanack" for 1801 with Washington biography (dark toning and water damage along right side), and 6) "Bickerstaff's Boston Almanack" for 1788 with Federal chariot cover illustration (faded) and poem celebrating the new Constitution on page three (lacking two pages).
