DescriptionPat Garrett: A Colorful Playing Card Which Once Belonged to the New Mexico Lawmen. According to the letter of authentication, this 1893 dated Monte card came from several partial decks of cards found in Pat Garrett's roll-top desk. They were obtained by the writer during a 1969 visit he paid to the Garrett family home in the company of his close friend and business partner Jarvis Garrett, Pat's youngest son. Garrett stated that the desk had been undisturbed since his father's desk in 1908 and sold it with its contents to the writer.
A neat Garrett artifact, nicely custom-framed with two color copies of cards. The one in the center is the actual card.
