Four "Grand Slam" North American Sheep Head Mounts, as taken by Warren Page. Representing the "Grand Slam" of North American wild sheep - comprising shoulder mounts of a record book Stone sheep, a nice Dall sheep, a Desert sheep, and a Big Horn sheep. The largest is 32 inches high. The Desert and Stone sheep are documented in the book: One Man's Wilderness, by Warren Page.

The hunt for the Stone sheep is described:
"My heart pounded a bit as my binoculars centered on the little group of dark-bodied sheep...Even with only 7X, the glasses showed their horns, all of them, to be majestic in weight and sweep. And when Frank got the Bushnell spotter screwed onto its tripod and motioned me over for a look, the view through 20x spurted another shot of adrenalin through my veins. Every one of those rams was a full curl: everyone was in or above the forty-inch class....I was considering rolling a pebble or making some natural nonhuman noise when the problem was solved for us. The outside ram stood up, turned around. The he looked straight up at us...That was the one...the tape showed forty-three and a half inches around the longer curl with 14 and ¾ inches around the bases".
From: One Man's Wilderness, by Warren Page

Condition Report*: Overall in very good condition.  Two with some losses to the tips of the horns.  One with areas of hair loss around the root of the proper left horn and behind the horns.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
