    Description

    FENWAY PARK SEAT.

At a cost of $650,000 Fenway Park opened in 1912, just one week after the Titanic disaster. While many ballplayers have cleared the "Green Monster" in left field, no one has ever hit a ball over the right-field roof, including perhaps Boston's greatest star and baseball's best hitter, Ted Williams. Not for lack of trying, though, as Teddy Ballgame hit a 502-foot home run off Detroit Tigers pitcher Fred Hutchison. The foul ball safety screen behind home plate was the first ever in Major League history. On the back of the scoreboard inside the Green Monster are autographs of ballplayers who appeared in left field. We offer to you seat #10, constructed of wood and cast iron. It is 100% original and completely unrestored. It is fully functional and operational. All four feet are completely intact and is in VG-EX condition. Please note: Additional shipping charges may apply.
