    Description

    Two Ceramic Golden Jubilee Plates, including Wallis Gimson & Co.. Jubilee Year, Victoria, 1887. [together with:] Victoria, Queen & Empress. Unknown maker, ca. 1887. The 9.5 inch (24.1 cm) octagonal plate has mild glaze staining, two small areas of staining to the bisque and substantial rubbing to the gilt trim.
    The 10 x 8.75 inch (24.5 x 22.2 cm) rectangular example is heavily crazed with heavier staining beneath the glaze, rubbing to the gilt trim, scattered small rim chips with one large chip above the lower left corner.
