    Slave Bill Of Sale In Plymouth. One page, 7.5" x 9", Halifax, MA, July 25, 1737. Beautifully scripted record documenting the sale of a slave to Isaac Harris for the "Sum of One hundred & five pounds money." The bill of sale notes that the owner, "Thomas Crowe of Hallifax [sic] in the County of Plymouth in New England... Have bargained & sold set over & delivered unto the s'd Isaac Harris his heirs Executors or administrators or Assigns My Negro man Slave named Cutty." Document bears Crowe's large and attractive signature and a paper seal at lower right. Docketed on verso. Moderately toned with old repairs to seal tears.
