[Jesse James]: Family Archive. Extensive archive that encompasses photographs, documents and research material. Includes: 4.25" x 6.25" page from an 1882 St. Joseph city directory (taped down to board) that lists Thomas Howard (a.k.a. Jesse James), a 10" x 8" mounted albumen of "A. H. Parmers Home Ranch Archer Co. Tx. 1887", a June 12, 1883 ALS from Susie Parmer to her brother Frank James with transmittal envelope marked "Care of Sheriff Crozier" (good content asking about his trial), July 26, 1906 letter from Uncle Allen to "Bob" stating "I wish you & Frank were down here..." with good content, tintypes of family members (cousin John Edward James in two formats, his daughter Ella May James, a cabinet card of his son, and Jesse James, Jr. in two settings including one with John Samuel. Allen Parmer rode with the James boys and Quantrell's Raiders during the Civil War. He mentions fellow raider John Pool in his letter. Plus: insurance company receipt and envelope mailed to Frank James (faults). A social club date book used by Mrs. Frank James. Two sketches drawn by Charles Mason, great grandson of Jesse James (portrait of Jesse and three-part diagram of bullet entry-wounds to skull), plus assorted reference material and modern correspondence.
