"Cotton Belt Days [at the] Texas Spring Palace" Poster (1889) in red and blue ink, 9" x 24.25". The poster offers "One Fare for the Round Trip. . . . Constructed, Ornamented, Decorated and Filled with the Products of Texas" and lists special excursion trains from Mount Pleasant, Texas, to Fort Worth. Minor chips and tears to top and left edges.

The Texas Spring Palace was an exhibition hall built in Fort Worth in 1889. It was highly advertised with posters such as this to bring people to the city on special trains for the May exhibition. One of the goals was to market Texas products to non-Texans. The first year was a success, but before the second fair in 1890, the hall was destroyed by fire. The Cotton Belt railway ran from Memphis through Fort Worth.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
