    [Battle of Gettysburg]. List of List of Arms and Stores Lost by the 15th Regiment Massachusetts Volunteers. One page, 7.25" x 9.5" (sight), Culpepper [Virginia], September 30, 1863. Handwritten by Captain Walter Gale of Co. "C," 15th Massachusetts. He writes, in part: "I certify on honor, that on the 2nd & 3rd days of July 1863 at Gettysburg Pa, the Stores enumerated below were lost in action at that place." The list includes such items as Springfield Rifled Muskets, bayonets, cap pouches, and cartridge boxes. Lightly toned with smoothed folds, the list is matted and framed with a chromolithograph print titled "The Battle of Gettysburg" by Kurz & Allison, 1884, to an overall size of 28" x 15.75".
