Even if a ballplayer's stop in Brooklyn was brief, that experience immediately and forever transformed him to a Dodger blueblood.  After that fateful 1957 migration to Los Angeles, the institution ceased to be a dynamic fraternity, but instead, one committed to the ages.  In one of their retirement gatherings, a group of 23 one-time Brooklyn Dodgers signed this ONL (Giamatti) ball.  All of these autographs are strong ballpoint 9-10 quality, and readily legible.  Duke Snider signed the sweetspot, and the rest are comprised of George Shuba, Billy Loes, Dixie Howell, Goody Rosen, Joe Pignatano, Joe Black, Carl Erskine, Bobby Morgan, Mickey Owen, Walt Moryn, Randy Jackson, Buddy Hassett, Herman Franks, Pee Wee Reese, Cookie Lavagetto, Gene Hermanski, Sandy Amoros, Johnny Podres, Andy Pafko, Eddie Miksis, Tommy Holmes and Clem Labine.  Please note: Due to the size and/or weight of this lot, additional shipping costs may apply.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
