    Diary of an Expedition through Yellowstone, Wyoming Territory, ca. 1870s. Diary starts in May 1873, with an entry written for each day. Examples include: "May 26th , 1873 ...To kill time, are meeting Capt Mines and start a game of draw poker..." Next, "May 29th, 1873...This Morning finds us still on our way up the Missouri river..." Also, "June 3, 1873, This morning we awaken to find our boat quit a distance above Grand river...We passed the miner and all the sadies of the 7th Cavalry, with the expedition of Mrs. Gen. Custer who goes with her husband on the march". Approximately 100 plus pages form May to October of 1873. Very interesting and very articulate diary. Measures approximately 3.75" x 6".
