    Collection of Ulysses S. Grant Memorial Items. Comprised of eight photographs, one medal, and three pieces of ephemera related to Grant. The photographs include two cabinet cards of the Grant family at Mount McGregor in New York just weeks before his death, a black bordered photograph of Grant printed after his death, the last photograph taken of Grant days before his death (two copies), two photographs of the Drexel Cottage (one of which is a stereoview), the house in which Grant spent his final weeks, and a carte de visite of Harriet G. McGregor, the former owner of the house in which Grant died.

    With a Souvenir G.A.R. Encampment 1907 medal featuring Grant's visage and the McGregor house, attached to a red, white, and blue ribbon; a G.A.R. pamphlet describing the house in which he died; a small booklet titled Wild Flowers of Mount McGregor, containing eleven pages of dried plants with labels; an advertisement for Mount McGregor ("The Last Home of General Grant!") and the Hotel Balmoral with accompanying train schedule.
