Cleveland Municipal Stadium, affectionately known as "Mistake by the Lake", was home to the Cleveland Indians for 61 years. It opened in 1931 and was the first stadium built using public money. It was originally named Lakefront Stadium and had a 78,189 capacity, thus whenever the Indians drew 20,000 fans for a game, the stadium looked empty. The Indians played here until the team was sold in 1985 and plans for a new stadium were under way and they played their last game at Cleveland Municipal in 1993. The stadium was demolished in 1996 but seat # 15 survived and can be had by you, the bidder. It is constructed of  wood and cast iron. All seats are 100% original, the paint is unrestored and all four pods/feet are completely intact.           Please note: Due to the size and/or weight of this lot, additional shipping costs may apply.
