An image of Dr. King and members of his family and friends in Norway. An identifying plaque on the matting board reads, "Martin Luther King Jr. / Friends and Family / Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony / Oslo Norway December 1964".
Martin Luther King Jr. was thirty-five when he won the Nobel Peace Prize, making him the youngest recipient of the award. He donated the $54,123 prize money to further civil rights projects.
Condition: Minor wear and warping to the photograph. There is also light soiling on the mount.
