    10.5" x 16"
    Washington, D.C.; May 5, 1970

A wanted poster issued by the FBI for the arrest of Brown. According to the poster, Brown is accused of "Interstate Flight - Arson - Inciting a Riot - Failure to Appear", and his various aliases are listed, along with a physical description and the warning that he "may be armed and should be considered dangerous." With mugshots taken from 1967.

Hubert G. Brown was an activist in the Civil Rights Movement and later became a religious leader. In 1967, he was made chairman of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee. At the same time, Brown was secretly targeted by the FBI's COINTELPRO program, and was suspected to be involved in the alleged riot of 1967 in Cambridge. In 1970, he was to be tried for this involvement, but the courthouse was bombed and Brown disappeared for 18 months. Brown was then put on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted List.
