    Produced by the Attica Brigade. Featuring a black and white photograph of one of the Attica inmates above a quote by L.D. (James Elliot Barkeley), in part: "The entire incident that has erupted here at Attica is a result...of the unmitigated oppression wrought by the racist administration network of this prison. We are men. We are not beasts, and we do not intend to be beaten or driven as such...What has happened here is but the sound before the fury of those who are oppressed..."

    Produced by the A.P.O.W. Alliance, with two black and white photographs of Earnest Graham and Eugene Allen. Below their photographs is the following quote: "Many prisoner guards assured us that if they were not successful in sending us to the gas chamber through court procedures, they would have to go back to their old traditional way of eliminating blacks, but we don't feel much pain, because we know the people are on the march. IN TIME WE SHALL WIN. Graham & Allen."

    Published by the Red Family/Peoples Press. Illustrations throughout, with an interview with Jimmy Carter and three poems by Ericka Huggins. The newspaper was issued in response to the Attica Uprising and the death of Soledad Brother George Jackson.

    Condition: Mild toning, with flattened horizontal fold to newspaper. There are pinholes on the corners of one of the posters. Light toning and foxing to both posters.
