    Description

    [Broadside]. Decree Authorizing the Government to Settle Contracts for Clothing of the Troops Now On Their Way to Texas. One page, 8.5" x 12.5", Mexico, March 29, 1836. Decree by C. José Gomez de la Cortina authorizing the government to settle, on the least onerous terms, contracts for the clothing of the troops now on their way to Texas. Housed in a brown cloth chemise with matching quarter-bound slip case of cloth and leather with gilt titles on the spine. Edges are toned and chipped.
