    On August 19, 1969, Bobby Seale was leaving the wedding of Minister of Education, Ray "Masai" Hewitt, when his vehicle was surrounded by several unmarked cars. He was arrested and taken to San Francisco City Jail and charged with initiating the riots that took place in Chicago, during the 1968 Democratic National Convention. He became known as one of the original "Chicago Eight". While on trial, Seale was bound and gagged after numerous protests. He was sentenced to four years in prison for 16 counts of contempt.

    Condition: Flattened folds, with trivial wear and soiling at the edges. Pinholes at corners. Else, good.
