    Broadside Decree Continuing Santa Anna's Decree Restoring Order in Coahuila and Texas. One page, 8.5" x 12". Federal District of Mexico, June 12, 1835. With heading: "El Ciudadano Ramon Rayon, General de Brigada y Gobernador del Distrito federal." A later printing of a congressional decree approved by interim president Miguel Barragon on May 23, 1835, and promulgated on the same day by Jose Maria Gutierrez de Estrada, continuing Santa Anna's decree restoring order to Coahuila and Texas on December 2, 1834. A later printing of Streeter 834, which was dated and printed, "Mexico Mayo 23 de 1835" and signed in type by Gutierrez de Estrada, with heading, "Primera Secretaria de Estado. Departamento del Interior." Offered here is the decree as issued governor of the Federal District of Mexico a few weeks later.
    Condition: Very gently toned, with a few notations in pencil by a previous collector.
