Ink stamp reading "Bankitily Life" on the front free endpaper, first and second flyleaf, and the verso of the title page. Soiled boards and moderate foxing of flyleaf. Else fine. [and:] Constitution and Laws of the Grand Parlor. Native Sons of the Golden West and Constitution for Subordinate Parlors. San Francisco: Phillips & Smyth, 1897. 32mo, 124 pages. Index. Printed wraps. Former owner, George G. Morrison, has signed his name and dated the front wrap and the title page. Lightly toned. Front and rear cover is chipped at the lower corner. Light dampstain at lower corner on front wrap. The Native Sons of the Golden West was founded in 1875 to maintain the memory of the men and women from California's Gold Rush.
