    Description

Annie Oakley: Three Interesting Paper Items. This group features another copy of "Facts and Fancies" as well as a newspaperman's sketch of her life. The advertising card, "Missie," promotes the first publication of Fern Campbell Swartwout's biography of her aunt, published in 1947. The nickname "Missie" was bestowed on Annie Oakley by Buffalo Bill in 1885, and it stuck. Very good condition, with age browning on the Pinehurst pamphlet. 3.25" x 5.5" to 5.5" x 8.5", shown to scale. This lot will be accompanied by a family letter of provenance.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
