    Archive of Massachusetts Suffrage Ephemera, Circa 1853-1915. Includes: 1) a pamphlet titled "A Sermon of the Public Function of Women, Preached at the Music-Hall, Boston March 27, 1853" by Theodore Parker, 24 pages, 4.5" x 7.5", some light scattered foxing and damp stains, else very good condition. 2) "Uncivil Liberty: An Essay to Show the Injustice and Impolicy of Ruling Woman Without Her Consent" by E. H. Heywood, published Princeton, Massachusetts, 1870. 24 pages, 5.75" x 9.5", soiling and a few small holes to printed wraps and the front wrap is detached, otherwise very good condition. 3) "Why Should Women Vote? - An Appeal to Gallant Men", printed in Pennsylvania, 1915. 6.75" x 6.25", unpaginated, illustrated, very good condition. 4) A small, one page suffrage tract issued by the Massachusetts Woman Suffrage Association "Women Do Want the Vote - Women Should Have the Vote - Vote For Woman Suffrage", 5" x 6.75", the paper is toned, otherwise it remains in excellent condition. 5) a small 4" x 3" card issued by the Massachusetts Woman Suffrage Association titled "I Intend to Vote for Equal Suffrage in November, 1915". The card is printed with lines for the voter's name, address and city. Toned but very good condition. 6) an envelope printed with a map of the United States indicating the suffrage status of each state. The envelope is titled "Votes for Massachusetts Women, November, 1915", and bears a Cambridge, Massachusetts, November 2, 1915 postmark. The envelope is toned and the top edge slit, otherwise it is in very good condition. From the Judith Kaplan Women's History Collection.
