1958 MILWAUKEE BRAVES TEAM-SIGNED BALL. National League baseball in the mid to late ‘50’s was an exciting affair; ever present were the Dodgers and Giants. But, in the provinces there loomed the Milwaukee Braves. This team had ordnance, and with that might, they took two back-to-back pennants. The ball we present here, an ONL (Giles), represents the roster of that powerhouse from 1958. With nearly no exceptions, its 23 signatures are uniformally "9". Included here are Adcock, Covington, Logan, Haney (SS), Fitzpatrick (SS), Crandall, Hanebrink, Wise, Willey, Bruton, Frank Torre, Rush, Aaron, Burdette, Mantilla, Spahn, Del Rice, Pafko (minor smudge), Schoendienst, Mc- Mahon, Mathews, Pizarro and Trowbridge.Torre, Spahn and Aaron are CH signatures. LOA Spence and Grad/DNA.
