    Description

1933 NEW YORK YANKEES TEAM SIGNED BALL.

We'd dearly love to declare that this Yankee team signed ball is from 1932.  However, of its 19 signatures, we detect what seems to be Dixie Walker, which isolates the vintage of this heavily shellacked relic to 1933.  The ball is probably an OAL (Harridge), but this is uncertain due to illegible stampings.  The quality of signatures (legibility) range from 1 to 6.  Fully occupying the sweet spot is Babe Ruth whose scribing is among the stronger (6).  And faintly, that of Gehrig also appears, which is very weak (1).  Further, upon professional examination (PSA/DNA), it's determined that the Joe McCarthy signing is 'clubhouse.'  Thereafter are included Ben Chapman, Herb Pennock, Ruffing (signed "Chas. Ruffing"), Eddie Farrell, Arndt Jorgens, Lefty Gomez, Tony Lazzeri, Frank Crosetti, Earle Combs, Wilcy Moore, Lyn Lary, Dick Porter (who never played for the Yankees) and three others.  Please note: Due to the size and/or weight of this lot, additional shipping costs may apply.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
