As the Cubs headed into the 1930 season, they were once again awash with sparkling hitters in the lineup.  But 1930 was a season of unpredictable fortune as both leagues souped-up the ball, and.300 averages became the standard of mediocrity.  In anticipation of another pennant, however, Blue Ribbon Malt dispensed these impressive Cubs posters to their patrons.  Twenty-eight of Chicago's roster are depicted here to include such luminaries as Cuyler, Hornsby, Hartnett, an aged Highpockets Kelly and, of course, the inimitable Hack Wilson.  The medium for this assembly is an unframed 11 1/4" x 38" panorama.  It's in about GD condition with a conspicuous stain in the upper left corner and a tear extending about 6" from the right border.  Though taped on the reverse (and with very little loss of paper), this piece is a good candidate for professional treatment to attain a much enhanced appearance.  Please note: Due to the size and/or weight of this lot, additional shipping costs may apply.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
