1910 CHICAGO CUBS TEAM PHOTO GLASS NEGATIVE.
The 1910 Cubs went to the World Series for the 4th time in five years. This 8 x 10" glass negative shows the entire team with the West Side Grounds in the background. Frank Chance is standing right in the middle, flanked by his team that would go on to lose the World Series to Connie Mack's A's. This Burke & Atwell composition is a work of art and an early example of the magic that could be accomplished with photography. A print has been made from the negative and is included.
