    [War of 1812]. Five Newspapers spanning the months January through December 1812. Included are four issues of American Mercury (Hartford, Connecticut) and one issue of The Washingtonian (Windsor, Vermont) containing information from the beginning of the war including the Battle of Tippecanoe (a reprint of a letter from William Henry Harrison describing the battle), the declaration of war with Britain, and some early military engagements. All are very good or better.
