[Samuel Augustus Mitchell]. New Map of Texas with the Contiguous American & Mexican States. Philadelphia: S. Augustus Mitchell, 1835. 15.25" x 12.75". Designed and engraved by J. H. Young. Reference: Phillips, "Maps of America," page 844.

Condition: Map has been silked. A few closed tears, the largest three of which measure 3.5", 4", and 3", have been repaired by silking. 1" area of loss at center of map. A few more minor pinholes. Moderately toned with minor edgewear.
