"JOLTIN' JOE DIMAGGIO". As Williams lingered in the heights of.400, the 1941 season still belonged to DiMaggio.  By virtue of his immortal hitting streak, Joe got the headlines, and discretely played to the crowd.  In this celebration, a sea of American humanity thrilled to the Les Brown tune "Joltin' Joe DiMaggio."   Surviving from that mirth is one of the original glass records, produced by Columbia under the brand "Okeh."  The 10", 78 rpm disc appears to be in splendid, unblemished condition.  However, this catalog entry doesn't end there.  It is accompanied by its dust sleeve which is about VG/EX-EX due to understandable splits on its sides.  And finally, perhaps the centerpiece of this eventual display, is a wire photo of Joe, with Les Brown, mugging for the camera.  This photo measures 7 3/4" x 6".  Forgiving a mild crease in the lower left and a harmless glue blemish at the bottom border, this one is EX.  Affixed to the reverse is the press caption, dated "9-17-41."  Additional shipping cost may apply.
