[Black History]. "Amateur Minstrel Club" Programs (2), Annual Minstrel Show & Dance for the benefit of the Home for Aged Colored People in Chicago, Illinois. Two programs for benefits given on April 2, 1945 (8.25 x 10.75") and March 29, 1948 (7" x 11"). The 1945 program has 8 pages plus wraps, and includes many advertisements for black-owned local businesses, including Mme. C. J. Walker's College of Beauty and Culture. The 1948 program is a card stock bifolium with no ads, and a simple listing of sponsors for the event.

Condition: 1945 program has a bit of dampstaining affecting lower corner of all pages at binding, and some discoloration and soiling to wraps. 1948 program has been folded in four, and heavy soiling.
