World War II: Large Commemorative Tin Canister. 6.25" in diameter and 10.5" high. The canister was made in the Netherlands to commemorate the end of the Second World War. The Dutch Royal Arms are on the lid, as well as the flag of the Netherlands and the banner of the Royal House of Orange. The front of the canister pictures Allied leaders Franklin D. Roosevelt, Winston Churchill, Joseph Stalin, and Chiang Kai-shek, with the flags of their countries (the Chinese flag and arms used are those of Imperial China rather than those of the Republic of China). Light surface wear and denting, else very fine.
