    Walther P-38 Zero Series, Third Sub-variation, Circa 1940. Cal. 9mm. Serial Number 09027. 5" Barrel. Early war rich blue finish, black checkered plastic grips. All visible numbers matching including one matching numbered magazine. Left side of slide with Walther banner logo, "P.38" and serial number. Eagle over "359" proof marks and additional German military acceptance proofs elsewhere. Finish 99% with only a few trivial spots of wear. Grips with little handling war. Action strong, bore excellent. This immaculate pistol is sold in a circa 1986 locking wooden case lined with blue velvet and with an engraved brass tag "100 Jahre/ Walther/ 1886-1986" affixed to the top of the lid.
