    D-Day: Operation Bigot Utah Beach South Map. 22" x 17" [sight] multicolored map titled "Utah Beach-South (La Madelaine)." Inscribed "Top Secret - Bigot. Prepared by Commander Task Force 122, April 21, 1944". It is captioned "Second Beach Obstacle Overprint - Information as of 30 May". This map pre-dates the invasion and was used in conjunction with that historic assault that was "the beginning of the end" for Nazi Germany. Matted and framed to overall size of 28.5" x 23.5". Not examined out of frame. The map may be mounted. The frame is an inexpensive one, though likely of the period. Item can be shipped with or without frame, per the the winning bidder's directive.
