    Description

    WWI Period U.S. Cavalry Equipment Lot. Comprising: 1.) Mounted canteen with a 1917 dated Brauer Brothers Manufacturing cover. The cover is stencil-marked " 3 / [crossed swords] / F / U.S.". The canteen is complete with brown leather mounting strap and tie down strap. 2.) U.S. marked canvas horse cover lined with rough wool and maker marked "C. KENYON CO. / APR. 1918". 3.) Cavalry white canvas feed bag complete with all leather straps. Bag stencil marked "U.S. / Q.M.C." 4.) Pair of cavalry canvas grain buckets. One example dated 1916 (or 1918); the other 1917.

    Condition: 1.) Very good. 2.) Very good. 3.) A bit dirty from use; leather a cracked, otherwise good condition. 4.) Very good.
