WWI Kgl. Bayerisches 14. Infanterie-Regiment "Hartmann" Bronze Presentation Statue. 16½" tall. Exquisitely rendered down to the last minute detail. The regiment's crest is cast on the base along with the Bavarian motto: "In Treue Fest". The back of the base has a cast-in presentation inscription: "Das Offizerskorps Des Kgl. Bay. 14 Inf. Regts Hartmann Dem Scheidenden Kameraden Major Louis 1919". The figures represented are a standing officer wearing a raupenhelm standing over a wounded comrade officer. Both men wear pistols on their belts and gorgets around their necks. The medals on the chest of the standing officer are in sharp detail as are all the details of their uniforms. This unsigned bronze is in fine condition and would make a handsome addition to any collector's study or collecting room.

    Estimate: $1,500 - $2,500.
