V (Red, White, and Blue) (Lot of 3) 30" x 20" Artist: unsigned. A simple poster printed with the letter "V" in red, white, and blue. Other versions exist with the text "Invest" below the letter "V," but in this version there is no text, simply the letter. This simple and yet edifying poster was printed for the fifth and fine Liberty Loan, known as the Victory Liberty Loan, hence the letter "V." World War I posters ran the gamut from extremely graphic to extremely Spartan. This poster represents the latter extreme. When the Spartan infantry would file into battle their shields were embossed with the Greek letter lambda, which stood for Lacadaemonians, the name by which they referred to themselves; this letter "V" harkens to that simple expression of self and power. Do not miss it!

Condition-Poster 1-Fine; normal wear on the edges from rolling/storage.

Poster 2-Fine; small tears on top and bottom edge, wrinkle on bottom edge.

    Poster 3-Superior; excellent!

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
