    U.S. Army Model 1913 Cavalry "Patton" Saber. 35 14" straight double edge blade with center fuller. Marked on the ricasso "U.S." over eaglehead proof and on the reverse "L.F.& C" with Ordnance Bomb and the date 1919. Full basket hilt , checkered grip strap. Contained in canvas-covered steel scabbard with double-ring throat mount.
    Condition: Blade shows little wear but exhibits scattered spots of dark discoloration. Guard is bent at the pommel junction, grips have been replaced with wood panels. Scabbard is excellent showing minor wear.
