    Description

    Two Variations of the L.F. & C. (Landers Frary & Clark) WWI Trench Knuckle Knife. Includes: (1) Model 1917 trench knife with single row of hollow pyramid shaped dragon's teeth on the guard and walnut handle, maker marked and dated on the guard "U.S./ L.F. & C./ 1917". 9" triangular blade with 75% blue finish, light scabbard wear and in the original scabbard with green leather and metal throat and tip. Light surface rust on the exposed metal parts, otherwise in very good condition. (2) Mark I with brass handle cast with "U.S. 1918/ L.F. & C.-1918" on the right side and four brass knuckles with sharp points. 6¾" double-edged blade with 85% blue finish (extreme tip of blade broken off). In the original metal scabbard with "L.F. & C./ 1918" on the reverse and retaining both belt clips.
