Rare WWI Large Broadside Identifying German Aircraft, Dated October 1, 1918. 30" x 40". This chart was produced using data originally compiled by the French Minister of War's Technical Section of Military Aeronautics in conjunction with the Intelligence Department on Enemy Aviation. The broadside gives technical data on over fifteen types of German aircraft. Each type is broken down by manufacturer, with technical details, construction characteristics, performance, and armament. Line drawings provide front, side, and lower views of each type. Well known names in early aviation are well represented - Albatros, Fokker, Halberstadt, Gotha, and Rumpler and are shown in detail, from the basic pursuit plane to the larger R-Planes. The broadside has suffered some loss at the top edge with some minor chipping elsewhere. There is a stain along the left edge and a closed tear extends down centrally from the top edge. Otherwise, it is in very good condition. Due to its size and instructional purpose, few of these broadsides remain extant.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
