    Prussian Model 1889 Officer's Sword & Mid 19th Century Continental Cavalry Officer's Saber Comprising: 1.) Prussian sword with a 32" straight double fullered nickel plated blade marked at the ricasso "WK&Co". Fishskin grip with triple wire wrap, obverse with cypher of Kaiser Wilhelm II, pierced brass guard with Prussian eagle, reverse guard engraved "Kaiser Wilhelm Akademie". Black painted steel scabbard. 2.) Continental officer's cavalry saber with a 35 1/4" heavily curved wide fullered blade with engraving on the upper third featuring classical motifs and a panoply of arms. Black leather grip with triple twisted wire wrap. Triple branch brass guard. Contained in steel double ring scabbard.
    Condition: 1.) Excellent. Blade is bright, grip wrap is perfect. Scabbard paint shows wear, one of the ring mounts is broken off. 2.) Very good. Blade coated with lacquer or dried grease. Scabbard brown with areas of light rust.
