Patriotic League. 28" x 20" Artist: Howard Chandler Christy. Another in the pantheon of "Christy Girl" posters, this lovely brunette is pledging her allegiance to the Patriotic League. The Patriotic League, started in Seattle in 1918, organized girls for social service work and war services. One person said of the League, "Hundreds – Probably thousands are doing their utmost to help win the war. They are the private soldiers.” Girls and women were soldiers armed with patriotism and hard work. Christy does an amazing job of portraying the fresh-faced and vivacious image of a woman ready to do her duty for the war effort. This is one of Christy's rarest posters, and if you do not bid today, you may not get a chance in this lifetime!

Condition: Fine; normal wear and tear on edges from rolling/storage, dirt residue and stains on top edge, light transference from another poster on the bottom edge.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
