Order More Coal. (Lot of 4) 30" x 20" Artist: J. C. Leyendecker. Printed for the United States Fuel Administration. During World War I, there was need in the economy to help run the war, thus the iron and coal industries were pressed into service. With the price of coal rising, the government would be able to put more money into the war effort if people bought more coal. This poster depicts a man, on the back of a horsedrawn wagon, shoveling coal. It is regarded by many as the most beautiful image produced during the Great War. A once in a lifetime chance to own this lot!
