    Description

Large WWI Era Aeroplane Propeller. Approximately 9 feet and 5 inches in length with a hub thickness of about 6" and diameter of 13". This large laminated propeller exhibits signs of honest use, with sections of doped fabric along the leading edge and tips to reinforce the strength and prevent further chipping. The tips are clad in brass sheeting. There are no visible markings on the propeller and one side has been hastily painted green, the other side retains what appears to be the original finish. There is a section of the laminated wood lacking from the edge of the hub and the tips and edges are splintered. Still, in good condition and great for display. From the collection of Dr. Douglas Harman.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
