    Description

In the Path of the Hun 25" x 21" Artist: J. Knickerbocker. Printed by the Liberty Loan Committee. One of several black and white charcoal like drawings issued by the Liberty Loan Committee to depict various atrocities and propaganda. This one in particular depicts a bombed out and ruined European town which was in the path of the Hun advance through Europe. It has a small text block containing a fictional story about the town's pleasant past, and how it was drastically and brutally changed due to the Germans. This poster calls upon ones most basic instinct to protect the unprotected and help the those in need. A very poignant and deliberate device, do not pass this one by!

Condition- Good; cockling from severe fold memory, major wear on edges from rolling/storage, upper right corner is missing, water damage stains on left and lower edges.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
