Description
Imperial German Regimental Pipe Rheinish Infantry Regiment No. 68, Coblenz, 1907-1909. A porcelain reservist pipe named to a "Res. Viehl", whose name also appears on the roster on the reverse of the pipe bowl. A small German spiked helmet serves as the pipe's lid. The porcelain bowl is sold with four sections of the pipe stem, the most ornate of which is composed of sections of horn, a tassel, and plated metal horse head. A couple of the key connecting sections are absent but the pipe could easily be restored. Very good condition.Auction Info
