    Description

Hun or Home (Lot of 3 ) 30" x 20" Artist: Raleigh. Printed by the Liberty Loan Committee. Another fantastic creation by Raleigh. His dark somber pictures stand out as some of the most emotive and poignant images of the war. In this poster, a Hun soldier is wounding a man who is laying on the ground. Blood runs from his head wound as a young girl and her small child look on.The strokes are chaotic, the colors dark, but the image comes together to be a complete masterpiece of emotion and drama. The Hun is almost faceless as he stares out at the American audience viewing him. Powerful images like these are what made the World War I poster craze so famous and collectible decades after it was over. A great piece; no collection should be without one!

Condition-Poster 1-Superior; hairline tear on upper edge.

Poster 2-Fine; normal wear on edges from rolling/storage, dirt residue on edges.

Poster 3-Fine; normal wear on edges from rolling/storage, dirt residue on edges.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
