    Description

    Group of Three M1903 "Saber for All Officers." Includes: (1) An early example with wooden grip by M. C. Lilley & Co. Columbus O. Blade about mint. Scabbard with some wear to the nickel and scattered staining. Hilt a bit loose with a couple of minor bends. (2) An absolutely mint example by the American Military Supply Corp., New York with Germany stamped at the base of the blade, composition grip. The obverse blade etch includes "Culver" signifying Culver Military Academy. In the original N. S. Meyer Inc. cloth storage case. (3) An excellent example with wood grip by Pettibone Bros. Mfg. Co., Cincinnati. Also an early example with the original brass mounted, brown leather, sword belt in excellent condition. Sword overall near mint with just some minor staining and a few spots of very light surface rust, minor. The outward branch of the guard is bent. Nice group.
