    Description

    Group of 2 Swords; Imperial Austrian and Saxon The first, Austrian with a 32 1/4" single fuller bright blade with a "Voos" partial maker mark in excellent condition. Brass pierced basket hilt with heavy Austrian eagle and scroll motif. Shark skin grip missing wire. Steel leather covered single fixed ring scabbard with decorative brass mounts. Leather seam is split between the 2 upper mounts. The second is a Saxon officer's sword with a 32 1/4" triple fuller blade with royal cipher and "Eisenhauer Garantirt" stamp on one side and "Hast & Uhthoff Dresden on the other. Blade is bright with gray / dark areas. Brass hilt with Saxon arms in the pierced basket, shark skin and triple wire wrap show minor wear. Black painted steel single ring scabbard is missing most of its paint.
