    German Post-WWII City of Bremen Police Shako Converted From a WWII Example. Standard WWII pattern shako made by "C. Pose Wehrausr├╝stungen Berlin", size 57, with a City of Bremen front plate and aluminum cockade. The green wool body has been hastily dyed black for post-war use. The backside of the leather liner is ink-stamped sized "57" and dated "1941". A typed ownership label is mounted to the inside of the helmet which reads "Meister Bose / Nr. 106, S 6". Lacking the chinstrap. Very good as configured.
