For United America. (Lot of 2) 40" x 28" Artist: Charles Howard Walker. A magnificent poster depicting Columbia holding two staves bearing 41 escutcheons of the countries who contributed volunteers during the war effort. This poster was printed post-war in 1919. Some figures estimate that nearly 36 million people were injured during the Great War. This poster is a rare find, and illustrates the sense of globalism and unity that began to develop during the war. The colors on this poster alone make it incredible.

Condition: Poster 1- Good; cockling from severe fold memory, minor/major tears on bottom edge, bottom corners are creased and dirty.
Poster 2- Good; several severe tears along bottom edge which extend into graphic, large hole at the end of one of the tears, edges show normal wear from rolling/storage, dirt stains and residue on top and bottom edges.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
